"This edition of the NIC is appealing because it combines imaging of vascular abnormalities that, although most often dealt with and treated in specialized pediatric hospitals, can be encountered in any imaging practice. In the latter situation, experience with these diagnoses may be somewhat limited, which makes this book even more valuable for all radiologists.... Four highly important tables accompany the chapter on arterial ischemic stroke. These tables are of such value that the reader will want to consider printing these tables and having them close by as pediatric imaging is being performed.... In summary, this is an outstanding issue of the NIC. It covers the whole range of pediatric neurovascular abnormalities, and each chapter deserves close scrutiny, particularly for the imaging features that may be encountered by all radiologists."
